I am part of the Fecobiome Initiative.

 

Relying mainly on shotgun metagenomics, this project facilitates the advancement of research targeting microbial communities in the gastrointestinal trait of ruminants.

FI aims to offer viable solutions in cattle husbandry. These include the reduction of zoonotic risks and animal pathogens, as well as the minimization of the antibiotics administered to animals.

 

We aim to improve animal welfare while enhancing quality and safety of meat and dairy production.
